All men are invited to the next Providence Men’s Dinner on Monday, October 26, at 5:30 p.m. at Providence.

Our guest speaker will be Major General Craig Whelden, U.S. Army (Retired). General Whelden has spent more than 17 years serving at the highest levels of military leadership. Thirty years after becoming an Eagle Scout, he became the youngest general in the United States Army. His distinguished career included leading thousands of soldiers, sailors, Marines, and civilians, as well as serving 10 years in Europe and 12 years in the Pacific.

Following his Army career, General Whelden served for nine years as a member of the Senior Executive Service with the United States Marine Corps. Today, he is an internationally recognized speaker and award-winning, bestselling author who draws upon decades of experience in leadership, communication, crisis management, and navigating uncertain times.

General Whelden will offer his perspective on current world affairs, focusing particularly on China, Ukraine, and Iran. With his extensive military experience and years of service in both Europe and the Pacific, this promises to be a timely and informative presentation.
