As we celebrate 40 years of God’s faithfulness and ministry at Providence, we invite our congregation to a special Musical Weekend featuring renowned composer Mary McDonald on October 10–11.

Mary McDonald is an acclaimed American composer of sacred music, with more than 1,500 compositions written over the past 40 years. Her music has touched congregations and choirs around the world, and we are delighted to welcome her to Providence for this special anniversary celebration.

The weekend will include a musical workshop on Saturday, October 10, followed by a special choir presentation during our 10:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday, October 11.

A particularly meaningful moment of our celebration will be the premiere of the commissioned anthem, “Upon This Rock, I’ll Build My Church,” during worship on October 11.

We hope many from our congregation will join us for this memorable weekend as we celebrate God’s faithfulness, give thanks for our past, and look forward to the future together through music and worship.
