Local Missions

AIM: In June and July Adventures in Missions (AIM) sends mission teams of families, adults and youth from across the US to our campus to serve God with local organizations. The AIM teams stay on Providence's grounds and also help with church cleanup, repairing, painting entertaining and engaging with our congregation.

Child Evangelism Fellowship volunteers serve in elementary schools in five area counties to conduct Good News Clubs once a week after school from October through April. Providence Missions Budget funds support this gospel outreach to children.

Deep Well: Throughout the year, Providence members support Hilton Head’s local non-profit Deep Well agency by donating non-perishable food items for their pantry. At Thanksgiving, we provide and deliver meals to 65 local families in need. We also provide toys and funds for the purchase of toys for December's Deep Well Santa Shop.

South Coastal Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) serves Allendale, Beaufort, Jasper and Hampton Counties using the vehicle and presence of sports to reach high school and middle school students with the Gospel in their schools.

The Christian Heritage Breakfast is held annually on Tuesday of the Heritage golf tournament. Providence Missions Budget funds enable ten FCA high school athletes and coach from a local area school attend to share food, fellowship, fun and Christian witness.

Pregnancy Center and Clinic of the Low Country: This organization exists to encourage and help women with pregnancy education and support. A new clinic in Ridgeland sees patients once a week.

Sandalwood Community Food Pantry: Providence is active in helping the Sandalwood Community Food Pantry by providing volunteers to pick up groceries and fresh produce and deliver to the food pantry's clients. We also offer support with a team for the annual Run for Hunger.

Stephen Ministry: Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one lay caring ministry that provides high quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.
